Within Glacier National Park, there are approximately 300 species of flowering plants. 36 of the most colorful and abundant of these frame this scenic photograph. Many can be seen along this popular boardwalk route from the Logan Pass visitor center to Hidden Lake. From the left to right in this photo are: Going-to-the-Sun, Divide, Red Eagle, Little Chief and Heaveyrunner Mountains. The head of St. Mary Lake can also be seen in the valley below.
